Rotating doubles
Courts of four. Partners rotate within the night so everyone on a court partners everyone else; the court is the level, the winner moves up a court, and every league is set up around your club’s rules.
Built for tennis, and just as easy to set up for pickleball, padel, squash or any similar racquet sport.
One night, three steps.
Each court is a level. Partners change through the night, and the night decides who moves.
Step 1: Courts of four by level
Each court is a level, with the strongest four on Court 1. Players are placed on their level’s court at a time that suits them.
Step 2: Partners rotate
Over the night everyone on a court partners each of the other three once: A and B against C and D, then A and C against B and D, then A and D against B and C.
Step 3: The winner moves up a court
The player with the most games on a court moves up one, the fewest moves down. You can adjust any player who played before confirming.
Everything a night needs.
From who’s playing to who moves.
- Courts drawn for you each week from who’s available.
- Players enter each court’s games from their phones.
- A message thread for every court, and a sub list for the night a regular can’t make it.
- The pairings are fixed for every court, so players only enter games.
- Email the courts: every player gets their court and time by email and push, and anyone sitting out is told too.
- After the night the app suggests each player’s next court, and you can adjust any player who played before you confirm.
80% framework, 20% yours — courts, nights, divisions, scoring and rules are set with you.

A night in the life of rotating doubles.
An imagined weeknight doubles league, from the first availability answer to the next week’s courts.
Before the night
Players say when they can play
Each player says whether they can play, and which start times suit them.

Rotating doubles suits you if…
You run a social doubles night.
Partners change every match, so players meet more of the league in one evening.
Your players come in a mix of levels.
Each court is a level, and moving a court at a time sorts the levels out over the weeks.
Your regulars can’t all come every week.
Each night is drawn from who’s available, and a sub list covers the gaps.
From a player
It’s well organized and easy to use. I think all clubs should use this app.
Questions about rotating doubles
What about subs?
Need someone occasionally to make a match possible who isn’t on the active roster? No problem: seat a sub and, if they have an email address, they get the courts or schedule email when you send it. Subs need no account and never count as players on your bill.
How do players sign in?
With the email address on your roster. We email them a sign-in link and a 6-digit code (either one works), or they can continue with Google if that address is a Google account. There are no passwords. Only people on your roster can sign in, and there's no public sign-up.
Do players need to download an app?
No, and there's no app store. HouseLeaguePro runs in the phone's browser, and players can add it to their home screen in a few taps so it opens like an app. Once it's there, they can turn on push alerts on iPhone and Android. Everything still comes by email either way.
Who can see players' email addresses and phone numbers?
You choose, separately for email and phone: everyone in the league, only players in the same division, or no one. Phone numbers start hidden from players. Organizers always see both.
